About Loudoun Bowhunters Archery Club
Our relationship with Loudoun Izaak Walton League
Our archery club is really a club within a club. We are located on the property of the Loudoun Izaak Walton League. You will have to join the Loudoun Izaak Walton League to use our archery facilities. The Loudoun IWLA is really a great organization and a fantastic place to spend time shooting, fishing and meeting great people. Go to their web site for all the details. Loudoun IWLA
Not a hunting club
Despite our name, the archery club is not a hunting club, just an archery club, although most of our members enjoy hunting on whatever properties they get permission to hunt on. There is no hunting allowed on the IWLA property.
Membership
If you become a member of the Loudoun IWLA, you are welcome to use the archery practice targets or the 3-D range anytime you want. You don't need to be a member of the Archery Club to use our facilities. We don't hold any regular meetings right now but in the warmer months we hold a monthly 3-D target shoot. Usually, the first shoot of the season is in March and they end in September. The archery club membership dues will go toward maintaining the range and targets. Archery club membership is only $25 per year, ($35 per year for the whole family). Membership Applications can be picked up at the club house on the day of any club event, or send email to RDWheless1@aol.com and I will mail you an application.
